ProMICAD

The ProMICAD System for Empowerment is an innovative assessment program. It enables users to complete an enjoyable self-assessment that produces a personal profile describing their best qualities, raising their self-esteem and confidence.

As a tool for personal effectiveness profiling, it is compact and easy to use compared with most character profiles, it is without the overwhelming number of questions or formula. With a deceptively simple set of choices it gives an insight into  a person’s underlying strengths and brings out the best attributes of the person.

ProMICAD is included in the Department for Education and Employment’s Guidance on Assessment in The Learning Gateway scheme for 16 – 17 year old. The program is also suitable for inclusion as part of Personal Effectiveness training courses for adults and children from the age of 13 upwards. ProMICAD has also become a vital tool for guidance professionals in; career mentoring, schools, colleges, adult guidance centers, a wide range of youth care groups and careers services throughout Britain.

The program is ideally suited for use by mentors, careers advisers, teachers, youth workers, working with adults and young people. It has found key advantages with people who may for one reason or another, find it difficult to talk about themselves or act positively. The system has proved effective in quickly establishing a mutually respectful and co-operative relationship between mentor and client.

The program is not suitable for use with people suffering from severe mental health problems or those with acute learning difficulties.
